I'm beginning to think Beaker may not make it through the night. Breathing seems to be getting harder for him, just more strained really as he's breathing through his mouth. I'm really not sure why he isn't breathing through his nose. I can hear fluid bubbling when he breathes but I can't lift him up to drain it out. I tried three times but he just flapped his way out and went to the ground. He still has a lot of strength in him so I guess time will tell. I will ask my neighbour tomorrow to help me with him.
I've locked Tommy in with the chickens tonight, he looked like he was nesting before so perhaps he's getting comfortable.

I just recovered from 24 hour food poisoning so I just hope Beaker can pull through this, too. Though my recovery had nothing to do with yoghurt and everything to do with finally keeping down 2 ginger cookies, I think.
