We have a black hen that is sitting on eggs at the moment. I managed to entice her off for a bit of banana the other day and checked how many eggs she had. I thought she'd be sitting on at least two but she was sitting on none, so we've coined a new term. To Katcsa - meaning to sit and nest on zero eggs.
I'm actually away from the farm today (and yesterday). I penned Tommy in with the chickens, gave Old Boy his meds and bid them farewell for the weekend. Someone is popping into the farm today to give Old Boy his pill and everything should be fine.
