Speedy is very, very sick. The Botulism has struck again, but Princess Speedy, being the fighter that she is - is refusing to give up. I noticed that she wasn't just tired yesterday after I blogged. I thought she would die during the night but now at 11am, she is still holding on. I hope that she'll recover, but mortality is high. I've contacted the vet and there is sadly nothing I can do. I think if there ever was an animal to recover it maybe Speedy. But I could just be in denialI've told her she needs to go and be with the baby girls to keep the ducks in line. She always did think she was part duck. No one else is showing signs of the infection. Everyone is penned up, including the boys.
