Morning update

I was so damn worried about Speedy last night, I went to check on her a number of times. When I went out this morning she seemed much better. I've since moved her out to a smallish type cage on our veranda. I put some hay, food and water in it and will leave her there for the next day or so. As I've since found out with the botulism, it builds up in the animals bodies and they can only take so much. So it may not be one thing they have eaten. I'm not sure how long it takes for their bodies to get rid of it, or if they even can. While I was told from the vet that chickens aren't usually susceptible to it, I can't take any chances when it comes to my princess Speedy. Hopefully she likes it out there and lays an egg. Cage eggs it is, screw the free range.
